Piers Morgan says Joe Biden’s ‘Santa Claus’ approach can cripple America

Piers Morgan claims that Joe Biden runs the risk of sending the US economy into a huge slump with his “heavily woke influenced infrastructure plan”

Piers Morgan has spoken out about American president Joe Biden and his continued promises of giving American’s extra money.

The 46th president of the United States celebrated 100 days in the White House this week and in his first address to a joint session of Congress, he pitched a “blue-collar blueprint” American Jobs Plan worth $2.3 trillion.

He also spoke of a $1.8 trillion investment into “human infrastructure” and insisted this wouldn’t add any tax burden onto the country’s workers.

The speech won rave reviews from listeners across the globe, with the new president’s slow-but-steady approach to governing providing a welcome break from the incessant drama of Donald Trump’s presidency.

It also followed the 78-year-old sensationally pledging to give away $20,000 to every American citizen which will come to a commitment of $60 billion for each day in office.

But his bravado money speeches aren’t sitting right with the former Good Morning Britain presenter, 56, who has labelled the president as being like “Santa Claus”.

Writing for Mail Online, Piers said that the generous approach wasn’t fooling him and confessed that while everyone loves Santa Claus, the made-up character isn’t as generous as he is inspiring.

Piers wrote: “The cold, snow-encrusted reality about Santa Claus and his incredibly generous ‘free’ gifts is that the bill for them actually gets paid by the people he ‘gives’ them to, as America’s parents all know when their January credit card charges come in.

“In other words, Santa’s really not that generous at all.

“In fact, he’s the least generous person in the world. He just talks a good game.”

The presenter went on to describe the president as doing exactly that – talking a good game.

He revealed that the democrat “knew how to push the right buttons” with the American public, but insisted he must be careful.

“‘Go woke, go broke’ is a familiar refrain these days, because it’s a very real thing,” Piers continued.

And he said that Joe is ignoring the huge amounts of debt the country already has in a bid to keep people happy.

Piers accused the president of “chucking yet more trillions at his heavily woke influenced infrastructure plan” and wrote how economists fear for the tax needed to be introduced to pay for it all.

The outspoken presenter concluded that if the president’s pledges cause inflation to rise quickly then the US economy will face a huge slump – and it’ll be all down to Joe’s “generosity”.
