VERSACE VIEWING: Versace is eyeing a space in Galleria Vittorio Emanuele in Milan. The company has sent a request to the city’s municipality to rent the space currently occupied by storied Argenteria Bernasconi, which carries exclusive silverware and tableware. The space is opposite a Louis Vuitton boutique, Prada’s first flagship and Prada’s new venue, expected to open soon. If the city accepts the proposal, Versace will have to pay an annual sum valued at about 606,000 euros, or $796,523 at current exchange rates.
