Know the colors you wear. They can add or subtract from your personality. So don't get careless when choosing a color.

Now getting to more greener pastures. Men should, as a rule, stay away from light green when they are going for business. Unless and until it is a green tie with patterns, green is out for men.

Women only look good in mini green dresses. Lighter shades of green canend up looking cheap. There are only few women who can pull this colour off, so don’t even tread that road. Green can be combined with a grey or brown outfit for more bearable results. Darker shades of green are generally better but should not be worn as a solid colour.

Pink is a color that is the safest. It is a good color choice for women. Pink looks good regardless in a deep shade or a softer shade of rose. It is the ideal color for womens blouses, dresses, or scarves. Men can wear pink too, but it should be in a small dose. They can wear a pink shirt or a pink striped or check tie with a white shirt. Pink shirts should be kept for less conservative business meetings.
Brown is the colour for casual wearing rather than corporate occassions. Men should choose to wear brown on more causal events. Brown gives a sophisticated look and adds a softness to the personality. So it can be worn at conferences and meeting where you wish to appear approachable. However, on women brown looks sophisticated, elegant and feminine. It is acceptable for women to wear various shades of brown as it mostly suits them.

Orange is a difficult color for men to pull off . If you wear shades of orange and peach then keep it as a less obvious color in a tie, shirt or handkerchief. Women can easily carry this color as this enhances and complements their skin tone. If they choose to wear it in a blouse then it should be paired with navy, grey, and black. Light peach can look youthful and fresh especially in summers.

Men can wear violet but only in patterned ties and shirts. Women can wear purple shirts and dresses but it looks much better if kept to the top half only.
